Program overview |
• Twinning Program (Undergraduate and graduate options), Fall 2019 Chungnam National University (CNU) is looking for talented students from all over the world to join Twinning Program (Dual degree program) with both of undergraduate and graduate options. Through the program, students from overseas partner institutions can obtain dual degrees from CNU and home university in just one year. Students will have an opportunity to study at CNU as a regular student for one academic year (or more when needed) and earn credit depends on the degree options (Undergraduate, Graduate).
Traditional dual degree program has been required at least two academic years of study and more than one half of the graduate credits to grant a degree. Twinning program asks shorter period of time and lower financial burden than traditional program. CNU had worked on developing Twinning program with carefully chosen overseas partners. Take an ideal opportunity to study abroad and get dual degrees in accelerated timeframe. PLUS, CNU provides various cultural activities, Job fair and special lectures for students who want more than just academic credits during their time in Korea. |

• Successfully completed at least two years of college education at partner universities to enter undergraduate dual degree program, and at least one semester completion for graduate option • Level 4 or higher on the Test of Proficiency in Korean(TOPIK) or recognized English Proficiency Test: Higher on a test scores as follows-TOEIC 700, TOEFL(CBT 197, iBT 71), TEPS 600, IELTS 5.5 |

Tuition waiver information |
• 50 % tuition waiver for maximum 2 semesters* • First semester, a 50 percent tuition discount for all students. Second semester, another 50 percent tuition discount for the students who get a grade average over 2.25 in their first semester. *Students that are over quota may be charged full tuition fees. |

Complimentary Korean Language course:
Institute of International Language Education(IILE) |
CNU IILE(Institute of International Language Education) provides the regular program all the year round, with four sessions: spring, summer, fall and winter. Students may choose their desired quarter and begin their studies in Korean language. Throughout the program, students will learn cultural information needed for the successful application of Korean. The classes are small and offer many opportunities for interaction with the teacher and other students in class. Language learning is promoted through a variety of classroom activities and projects.
