MIS Elementary Class finally made the long-awaited field trip to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Sciences on Friday 12th March.
The students visited the Faculty of Geology, VNUHCM – University of Science. They had a chance to look at different types of rocks from various tools and to talk to petrologists and archaeologists.
The Lower Elementary students learnt about what a rock is, three main types of rocks and identifiable characteristics of each type of rocks.
The Upper Elementary students learnt how the three main types of rocks are formed (Rock cycle), Space rocks, and about how rocks are related.
